    Below starting load?

300 Blackout pistol gas and 16inch
    168g amax 2.235 COAL
    #41primers
    296 powder

Starting load is listed at 14.3. I shot several at 14.3 and they averaged 1709 which is 50 fps over listed on Hodgdon site.

Question is can I run this load down to 13.8 safely to get closer to listed velocity. As long as I get complete function as well?

If it were me I would load 5 rounds of each : 14.2, 14.1, 14, 13.9, 13.8 and test those. You can get your load data and function status of each load. As long as you are getting good function you are good.

The one thing to remember that the speeds listed in the reloading manuals is specific to the weapon that they tested in. It will vary with your rifle and still be safe.

Down loading h110 is not a good idea.Do a search on this and you will see why.

Of course you can, just make sure you see an impact with each test shot, mind your velocity, make sure they are not wildly apart shot to shot, if you don't see an impact, check to make sure you didn't stick a bullet.

        Have fun.
