    .50AE Ammo For DE .50

    Calgunners,

MR sells @ $33.00/20 rounds - anyone know of any other source that has .50AE that works with a Desert Eagle cheaper than $33/20?

    Thanks!

Cast boolits are bad juju for the Eagle.

Reloading is the way to go though. H110 even has the load info on the label. How cool is that?

Oh yeah, I forgot the Deagle was gas operated. No wonder I couldn't find any .50 cast bullets.

I'm licensed to manufacture ammunition. What do you want loaded? I'll quote you a price.

                I have a DE .50 myself.

Personally, I liked that Crossfire stuff that Ammobros used to sell. Crossfire screwed up a lot of their ammo, but nothing for the DE was bad. Used to be like $16/25 or so.

That having been said, Speer is like $16/20 if you can get a good deal.

Real answer though is reload... they use the same projectiles as 50 Beowulf.

$16/20? Even Graf's is $37.99/20. Hell dealer discount at Graf's is only $32.xx. I can load it for $28/20.

The ammo I'm talking about is the Speer Gold Dot in this picture here:

Now that I think of it, I did pay $16.95/20 for those boxes... bought it from Miwall at the Del Mar show a year or two ago.

Of course, it may have gone up since then...
