We're all shrinking?
Gravity, over time has shorten the older one?
Reinforced cardboard boxes aren't what they used to be?
You've glued everything to the ceiling?
Oh, Metal is more expensive than it used to be.
Whatever the reason is, Thanks for posting.
That's the type of thing that only a observant long time reloader would've noticed.Last edited by sealocan; 07-19-2016, 11:59 PM. -
Do they really weigh the same? It would be interesting to check them out on a scale.Comment

Huh - I wonder if those would work in my 25-20 '92 Winchester? I use and like the 85grSpeers, but they go out of stock for long periods at a time.
I'll have to check this out........Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

I am guessing the newer bullet uses more lead than copper (thinner copper jacket). Lead is denser than copper so it results in a shorter bullet.
But the older bullet is longer so should have a better BC and be more accurate? Would be interesting to see a grouping comparison.Comment
