    Reloading Supplies around Pasadena

Hi all, I am moving to Pasadena next month. Currently I reload A LOT of ammo, but it is very easy and cheap to get everything in New Hampshire. I am wondering how easy and cheap it will be in Pasadena...

What shops are in that area that sell powders and primers? I have enough projectiles to last a long time, and usually buy those online, but the HAZMAT charges to ship p&p are annoying and eat into the cost savings of reloading.

I mostly use Titegroup, BLC2, etc.

    Thanks in advance.

Angeles Shooting Range, about 12 miles north west from Pasadena on the 210 freeway, has a reloading store.

If you reload in huge quantities, buying components online, maxing out the allowable weight (usually 50 lbs) per HAZMAT fee, is the way to go.

That's (6) 8-lb jugs of powder and a few thousand primers.

Yes, you will be spending about a grand on each shipment, but you'll be getting the best deal. Local shops really can't compete. But if you insist, here are the places in LA that I know of:

      Phillips Wholesale in Covina

Angeles Reloading Store at the Angeles Shooting Range

      American Gun Works in Glendale

Any of the Turners Outdoorsman, there is one in Pasadena.

I live in Pasadena and all the places have been pretty much covered.

I’ve been looking for someone local to split the costs of buying powder and primers online in the future. If you’re interested send me a PM.

Yep, locally, they covered it for you

In my case, Powder Valley is the best bet since I know folks who are motivated to go for a group buy.

The Pasadena Turners has a dedicated aisle for reloading equipment.
