Will neck tension affect chamber pressure?

I measured the chamber of a bolt action by pulling up the die and not completely resizing the necks of the brass case. Then I popped a projectile (same ones I will be using) into the brass case and slid to bolt in to measure the internal length. This way I can pull off the lands little by little and check accuracy to find the best OAL for this round.

My problem: I left the die up, and reloaded a few rounds. The neck is tight enough to hold all of the bullets in place even if I yank on them by hand. About only the top half of the neck got resized. If I hand load them in a bolt action, are they ok to shoot? See any issues?

The rounds are too big to use my hammer puller, and too expensive to trash.

    Thank you.

i don't really know if it will effect it, But when I reload in the field for my bolt action 223 I resize with the LEE CLASSIC LOADER and then finish the rest of the process with my hand press and dies. The CLASSIC LOADER only neck sizes and works great.
CALGUNS DICTIONARY "FLIER": when a shooter wants to turn a 1 inch group to a half inch group because he flinched.

Yes it will but I don't think it really is an issue for what you're talking about. What you're describing is a common practice in black powder cartridge and schuetzen rifles. If anything your chamber pressures are going to be lower. Which usually means dirty with unburnt powder.

It will effect consistency of burn to some degree, especially if you have a jump. It won't change peak pressures enough to matter from a safety standpoint.

Jamming into the lands can change peak pressures quite a bit, although I think that is also largely an academic exercise as I have never heard of anyone blowing up their gun because they jammed, versus jumped.
