I set up all my dies everything look good until i made my firsy bacth of 10 and noticed that the powder
Was almost to the top and when a bullet was seated and crimped to the correct spect there was no space left i am using varget powder
And it called for 25.0 to 27.0 max i am at 26.0 ruffly when i shake a regular 223 i hear that there is space like a salt shaker noise i remember reading some were that there had to be some space in between the projectile and the powder any help would greatly be appreciated

What did the manual say % case capacity was or did it say compressed?
We'll just give them the 'ol number 6.

What kind of scale are u using to check the powder weight. You could have a problem there. You could weigh a bullet to check or if your scale came with weights check it. If digital, recalibrate.

Varget is a compressed load in 223 and it is not the best powder for that round in my opinion. You can run compressed loads, many do run them and have great success. I recommend working up your load to find out what works best in your gun.

Try 24.5 grains of Varget with a 55 grain bulk bullet.

Varget is a darn good powder but you are wasting it on the armscorp bulk bullet.

Yes many people run compressed loads with great accuracy, but you need to work up the load for your rifle. So start min load 5 and go up a few tenths of a grain each set of 5 bullets. Find what cycles and is accurate for your gun and then shoot the snot out of that load.

You might want to look into trying different powders with the dillon powder measure. Ball powders will throw more consistently. They also aren't compressed loads so when the shell plate is indexing there is a much lower chance of powder bouncing out of the casing and getting all over the machine.

I'm running 27gr of CFE223 with 55gr projectiles and there is still room in the case.
