Mark Fore and Strike in Reno

A while back someone suggested Mark Fore and Strike in Reno when I mentioned I would be in the area and was looking for places for reloading materials.

All I can say is NO WAY to Mark Fore and Strike!

Yes they have a lot of stuff and it's a great store for shooting/hunting/fishing stuff but their prices are CRAZY!

8lb jug os H322: $289

Those prices are crazy, I thought my LGS prices were high.

Powder valley is pretty much back in stock on most items. Supply is finally catching up with demand.

I hit Cabelas and Bass Pro on the way up and they have crap for stock in-store. Might as well suck up the hazmat fee and buy it all at once online.

My local range has a pretty good supply of stuff at decent member prices. $26/1000 for large and small winchester pistol primers and $27 for CCI 450's.

The last gun show I went to (Cow Palace) was well stocked with powder and primers..... reasonable prices, too. For example, H4895 was $169 for an 8lb jug. Primers were about $25/1000. At the previous August Reno show, Winchester primers were $21/1000, and they had ample supply.

Hell - I'm not having any problem finding .22 ammo, either. It is on the shelf just about everywhere I've wandered into, and most on-line retailers are carrying stock as well.

Yeah - if you reload/shoot and live in CA, and you didn't learn anything from the last two panics/runs on ammo and components...... I just don't know what to say to you.

Mark, Fore, and Strike, is the pits! And the owners can cop a bad attitude!
For years they were about the only thing going in the Reno area.

Did you try Sportsman warehouse just down the street?
