Once someone goes on a shooting rampage using ammo they reloaded themselves, we will be hosed. The news media will tell the public how they stockpiled thousands of rounds (which were handmade to be more lethal than ammo you can purchase), while having pounds of deadly explosive gunpowder in their garage. The gun grabbers will then say that nobody "needs" all that stuff, then force us to register and serialize our presses in a state database. Followed eventually by a ban on all new sales of any reloading gear.

How I feel about today's legislation cannot be expressed in words fit for this forum.

And this won't infringe us...it's obvious that none of us understand the meaning of "infringed".

On a non-gloomy note, 80% firearms got a slight nod...with Brown's veto. It's not like we got anything, just that we're lucky we didn't get infringed even more than we did.

Having lived in more states than most, the socal weather is nothing special, it actually sucks.........take your most favorite food and eat nothing but that for a year and get back to me.

While AZ is appealing and there are places there with seasons.......there are much better places, green with water, forests and hills with changing seasons.

I have been back 17 years now and it is one never ending socal summer, I miss the changing seasons, sort of paces each year out.......nothing like a brisk spring morning when the world comes back to life, a white christmas or the fall color change signaling the end of yet another year we get too few of.

Lead will be banned here before cases or powder. You will be able to reload, with steel and copper bullets.

The enviromental lobby will do this ban long before the anti-gun crowd.

And the "misnomered" AW is but a tiny part of a percentage point of that 4%.

                If not here, then where?

This is CalGuns, not CalSTFU. So where do law abiding pro 2A citizens go to discuss 2A? If not CalGuns?

Two or three, or even two or three dozens of citizens whispering in a basement, so no one else can hear. Doesn't quite cut it in the world of modern communications as to getting the word out, or discussing issues of concern to us.

                Please, tell us where.

Person to person at the range. At your private club. At the shooting competitions. You know. Like people used to communicate before data phones. With, like, words and stuff.

You can do it by yourself too if you prefer shooting as a solo thing, it's just harder

There will come a time that people reloading ammo for sport, pleasure, hunting, target shooting, defense, etc, and all other lawfull uses. Will be the next "ghost bullet loophole" that the progturds go after.

Refusing to discuss it, will not change the agenda of our enemies.

It is very logical. If you were going to take over a country, how would you disarm the people, so that they could not fight back?

Never forget the gun control has nothing to do with crime! It is about control....total control!

Just as California is a one party state. The whole nation is going to be a one party state! What do you think that all of this immigration thing is about!?

So in a political media war. Where words are the weapons not bullets, missiles, tanks, artillery, or ships. Where our sworn adversaries reach millions of people instantaneously with misinformation designed to destroy us. Like the oft used catch phrases and outright lies in the form of labels. "Saturday Night Special" was the first of a long line including Assault Weapon, common sense, reasonable, etc, etc, etc. We all know them, no need to list further examples. And paid political enemies, camoflaged as elected officials, of the Constitution do the same.

Are you suggesting we revert to archaic signal lights and motorcyle messengers to get OUR WORD out.

Or even discuss what will/might/probably/ happen in our future?

I rolled my eyes as well... Until I spent some time in the south... YIKES!!!

Yes I'll take the south west desert DRY heat over humid heat!!!

90 degrees and humidity or 105+ degrees in the du South-West.

I'll take the dry heat thank you.

I'm sorry, but this is the dumbest thing I've heard since the last Assembly session:

"If you were to look at the crime stats, I'd bet that most of the gunshot violence has been inflicted with commercial ammo and not reloads. That's just my guess, so it doesn't seem like a logical step to take to reduce gun violence. "

Somebody still thinks this is a logical attack on crime or criminals !!!
Other than the massive popularity of the 9mm Parabellum round, the metric system never really caught on here...
