    That is freaking CHEAP.

    Group buys?

Are these REAL M118LR or they are just calling their ammo M118LR?????

Me 2, I sent them an email asking if they are the real deal.... whether it is truely mil-spec w/ 175gr SMK.... we should also figure out whose brass (and what's the headstamp) is...

Let's figure out how many we can get, and what breaks can we get if we buy in volume... probably need 10k rounds tho (if not 100k rounds, that's the number I got when I last tried to get some real M193 in bulk)....

$0.90 each is really not bad....

        Current component cost:
        - $0.28-0.30 175SMK
        - $0.11-0.14 powder
        - $0.04 primer
        - $0.31 new WIN brass

$0.75 each!! And even without the brass, it would cost $0.44 minimum.

I'd like to get in on the group buy. I will take a case if I can get on. Lake City Match ammo shoots great in my Marine Corps armorer built M-1A.

I did more research on Sniper's Hide, people had bad experience with them before, so the general consensus is to pass on them, and that's what I will do now.

But seemingly the issue was back some time ago (a year ish), so their quality may have been changed since then. Yet, if I am planning to stock these as SHTF ammo, it wouldn't be too nice to find out when SHTF that these are S.

I ran over 1000 rnds of this through my bolt gun... was good stuff out to 900 / 1k... that is more of a platform problem than a ammo problem, 2600fps isnt gonna get u to 1k reliably out of a 20" barrel. Cases varried in weight by 20gns ... usally not that much ... it isnt a 175smk round they use... there own 175g website says.

I liked their ammo personally... but I reload now and would use this stuff in a gas gun no problem.
