    What gun? - important.

With 110 grainers I've gone as much as 9.3gr of Unique at 1.575 OAL without any over-pressure signs.

            Ouch!

100gr bullets are known as sandblasters in magnum loadings. They do make
a nicer "crack" when fired versus the "boom" from the slower powders and
            heavier bullets.

I wouldn't recommend a steady diet of those.

Been a while, but I recall 8~9g W231. Look it up to verify.

110gr, .357, Unique, lists 8.5-9.5gr in my Speer reloading manual.
I wouldn't run the 9.5 charge in a Colt or S&W. Not very many of them, anyway.
