    Order of processing 223 brass

I'm new to this and just about ready to get going on some rounds. I have purchased NEW 223 brass. Do I have these steps in the right order of process?

    anneal
    size
    trim
    prime
    powder
    seat/crimp

Since these are new brass I left out de-prime and tumble which would come #1 and #2 if used brass.

You shouldn't need to anneal or trim new brass. However it would be worth measuring to make sure that is the case.

Most likely if you've purchased new brass you should be able to size, prime, powder, seat and/or crimp (some folks don't crimp).

The next time around you would want to anneal and trim most likely.

I do not resize the new brass. I do run them thru my sizer die just enough to make sure the mouths are round and uniform. Just run them up until the expander ball goes thru the neck.
Sometimes I trim new brass. If you trim then you must deburr and chamfer
You need to chamfer the mouth of the brass so not to shave the bullets. I do this even when not trimming
      Hand prime the brass
Put in correct type/amount of powder
      Seat bullet
If you feel a need to crimp you can do so when seating the bullet or as a separate step.
      Shoot the ammo.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
