What 45 cal bullets are you running in your Glocks?

Just wondering what my fellow Calgunners are running in their Poly barrels???
I was tinkering with starting to do hardcast, because I'm too cheap to buy any more FMJ, and don't like plated.
    Any thoughts?

I run mostly 230 gr RMR plated bullets, occasionally I run 200 gr RMR plated bullets through my G41 . No leading problems.

while it is not a glock, my HKs with Poly barrels run FMJ and plated bullets from American reloading. Between 6 and 8 cents a round shipped, you're not going to find any cheaper than that

I opted to get an aftermarket barrel for my Glock 21 (but that was 16 years ago) to run lead.

I've also found that the Glock hates semi-wadcutter profiled bullets.

Lately, I'm really liking the hi-tek coated bullets, many companies sell them. I use SNS casting, but there are others. Much nicer than moly coated lead and cheaper than plated and FMJ.

I've shot many thousands of hi-tek coated bullets out of factory Glock barrels with no problems, so that's good.

The semi wadcutter thing is a real issue. Seems to depend on the exact model/caliber but definitely my 30s can't handle anything with kind of a ledge near the top of the brass - it ends up catching on the extraction groove of the case being ejected and bad things happen.

I'm liking those gold 230 RN coated from SNS. Are those the ones you are referring to? About 10c a pop?
I agree with not using semi-wads...

Cheapest plated 230 or 200 gran bullets I can find. Mostly, Barry's, xtrem, or Power Bond. Usually round nose, but sometimes HP or HB will be on sale and I'll buy that. Never one problem, shoots clean in both my 21 and 41.

Ran Missouri Bullets 225gr flat point bullets im my Glock 41. Shot 1000 rounds of the stuff through it. Shoots great. After about 300 rounds the lube would gum up the gun. I think that would happen with any brand bullets though.

                          SWC 45's in G21

Not sure what your talking about. My stock G21 will eat ANYTHING I feed it. I haven't found a bullet profile it doesn't like.

Also, I've been shooting hardcast lead bullets for some time. No leading issues, but I keep an eye on it after every IDPA match. Clean your bore on a regular basis and you won't have any problems.

We have a rental Glock 21 at the shop, w/ the stock barrel. I've run a lot of my own cast "boolits" through this pistol with no problems. BHN is 12-13, lube is liquid Alox. Proper sizing and proper lubing are key, followed by correct hardness (softer is better for both .45 ACP and .45 Colt).

It seems to vary a lot by model. I don't think I've heard of any problems in the 21.
