    Cheaper alternative to Laser-Cast bullets

Anyone have an alternative to Laser-Cast. I really like laser cast and have been running them for awhile now in 9mm .357 and .44............Just hoping there is a similar quality bullet manufacturer out there with a lower price point.

it would help if you named those price points and what sort of bulk you are looking to buy in.

I buy in 500 count. Which depending on caliber can run $55 to $70. Just lookin for some quality/accurate relatively inexpensive hard cast bullets.

I cast my own with free lead and Jake's lube. I think the lube costs about $0.50/500 rounds of .45. That's the least expensive way I can think of.

I am currently using a 20lb Lyman pot, a mold (obviously, a different mold for every bullet you want to cast), a lubesizer (for bulk pistol bullets, you can't beat a Star lubesizer) and the proper sizing die/top punch (if needed). Oh, yea, gloves are a must too.

You can do a google search, I have found some good stuff that way. Also try gunbroker, they have good deals every now and again.

www.bulletworks.com Last month I ordered 6K of the 200 grain LSWC think I paid for $85.00 per K shipping included. Best hard cast bullet I have ever shot.
