Anyone have suggestions on ships in the SF bay area to get loading supplies, powder, primers, etc?

Bulk order group buy with your buddies is the best.I frequently buy powder ,charging cost just to recover my money.
    Keep it simple!

Bass pro has a fair selection. Smaller spread at reeds and gun vault.

The only place on the peninsula that carries is imbert and smithers in san carlos. Their prices were ok before the meltdown. Have not been by there in a long time so not sure what they want for stuff now. Worth a call to see what they have. But if you can get in on a group buy or buy enough to make it worth your while. Powder valley is a decent source online, a while back if you ordered 8 lb of rifle powder and 1k of primers it worked out to $125 shipped, so it was $25 per pound and $25 for the primers.

I usually check Reeds in Santa Clara for powder and primers. If you're timing is good there selection is good. But you have to get their right after a shipment. The last time I was there they had Varget, BLC(2), CFE223, and Win 231.

Cabela's can be hit or miss. But while you're there check out Sheel's and Sportsman's warehouse.

Last time I was in Reno Cabela's had a variety of powder, but only 1-3 pounds of each.

There is a gun show in Reno May 21-22, will you be there around that time?

Triple A in Vallejo had a pretty decent selection, I was pleasantly surprised.

Richmond Rod and Gun has a surprisingly good selection at surprisingly good prices.

Failing that, if Cabelas doesn't work out you'll drive by a Bass Pro or two on the way back most likely.

Another thing you could do is buy online at Cabbalas and have them ship it to the Reno store. Then when you're there just pick up. Usually the online prices are cheaper than in store prices. Just double check everything (shipping date/pick up time) before you buy.

Petaluma Gun and Reloading Supplies has some stock.
If you need powder or primers, here is a link to a Calguns thread. I use Doug Fetterly for all my powders and primers: https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/...d.php?t=902815
It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the bottom.

When you don't find all of what you are looking for at Cabela's, go down town to Mark Fore and Strike. they'll have it and more...
