Gold dots without gold????

I ordered some Speer 147 GR. GDHP bullets (not ammo) from Grafs. It took a month to get the order, but we wont go there So I get a bag of 400 bullets, but they look like standard HPs not Gold Dots, I have some 115gr speer GDHP that were store bought, which clearly have a gold center. Did they just sell be standard speer bullets? I could buy Hps cheaper elseware.

In any given caliber, the heavier weight gold dot's may not show the gold dot.
The lightweight ones show the gold dot because the hollowpoint pocket goes all the way to the base of the bullet.
When they make the bullets heavier, they use the same size hollowpoint pocket, but the bullet is longer and the pocket no longer reaches the base of the bullet.

Thanks I wanted a small SHTF supply of good stuff, that didnt cost a fortune. I just would hate to think I got ripped off
