I just got in the mail from eBay some 8mm Mauser dies. What was described were CH dies. What I got were Pacific dies. I'm a little miff, but the Seller just assumed the CH box contained CH dies. CH dies are premium dies, from what I've been reading.
Question: Are Pacific dies any good? I looked up Pacific and they're now Hornady. The dies are old and well used, and heavier than my Lee carbides. Theses dies, after some cleaning with Break Free, look okay, the decapper pin has seen better days, but looks serviceable. I'm questioning those strange looking scratches on the shaft.
For $22.50 + $5 shipped, I thought I got a great deal - if they were CH, but now I dunno. I can always return them.
Opinions.
