Hornady interlock btsp quality control review

Just did a weight check on some 140 grain boxes of 100.

A shocking amout came in at exactly 140.0 grains....approx 40 percent........with most around 140.3.......min was 139.9 and max was 140.4, this is on a digital powder scale.

Seems pretty good for bulk hunting ammo.......looking forward to the box of match ammo on its way......hopefully it is even better or at least the same spread........all fell within a .5 grain window.

There was maybe 3 or 4 in 100 at the 140.4 and about the same amount at 139.9.........the bulk was 140.0 to 140.2 gr. I did have one that was 140.6, but a quick back and forth on a rag with the soft point reduced it down .2 grains.

Not sure what industry standard is, but seems good so far.

The last batch of projectiles I did weights on was PPU 55 grain fmjbt`s and they had a spread of approx 1.1 grains....I did weights on approx 50 out of a bag of 500....might have been a bigger variance than that.
