    Crimp die pulling occasional bullet

    ?

About 2 in every 100, crimp is pulling the bullet. I've loaded thousands of round ds w no issue. Even backed off the crimp adjustment.

    Clueless.

Sounds like the crimp is not releasing. Thousands of ds?
Roll or taper? Pistol or Rifle? Tapered or straight wall? Progressive or single stage? More info needed please.
    Pics if possible...
It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the bottom.

9 mil... turret press... I pulled it, cleaned it, still doing it.

The one factor that has changed, is I'm no longer case head separating. Using mixed brass.

I bet the headstamps of the bad ones are all the same....Remington. Thinner brass usually and I have had issues with neck tension with these.

          Russian.

Damn, back to sorting by head stamp. I think I already knew the answer...
