Has anyone had any luck purchasing 22 ammo in bulk, for a reasonable price (5 cents or less per round) on the internet?

6 to 7 cents is more realistic, but yeah it is really not hard to find at all at this point. Someone will be telling you that you posted in the wrong forum here soon though.

JT is right, 6 to 7 cents is realistic.
There is a thread here on available .22 somewhere.
Have your credit card ready, if the deal is really good, they go quickly.
Also, if shopping Midway, have a small "free shipping" item or two in your cart ready to go. You will save on shipping and or get a free or really cheap extra item.

Just got 2 500 round boxes of Remington at Cabela's for 34.99 each, added some .270 brass and a ammo box to get over 100.00 bucks and got free shipping. I don't think your going to find .22s in the future @ 2.50 a box.
