Do you crank out your ammo using the handle or is yours setup auto-driven?

Also, anyone here have theirs setup using the Mark 7 Auto-Drive? That unit setup seems awesome!

Handle user, but my elbows get sore and my bullet feeding hand goess numb in extended sessions.......getting old sucks.

I have a Forcht autodrive and so does a friend. They work well and you can load about 1500-1800 rds per hour on pistol and a little less on rifle. Make sure you get a bullet feeder and have plenty of primer tubes. It takes a little bit longer to set up and get dialed in, but once you do it runs like a champ.

The mark 7 is really nice with a lot of cool features, but is much more expensive. The forcht variable allows you to go from 100-3000 per hour. The mark 7 has pre-set numbers and won't move as fast.

I run mine with a mark 7 auto drive. very simple, straight forward and easy to use. I think there are 3 options out right now for auto drive. Mark 7, Forcht and ammo bot.


Best set up in my opinion would be a gsi toolhead mated to a mr bullet feeder colleter(sp?) on a mark 7 auto drive. This would allow you to have a powder check without having to use a combination seating/crimp die.

Forcht would be second best and I'm really not a huge fan of the ammobot
