    Phillips Wholesale find...

I was at Phillips Wholesale in Covina today. I scored a find of 30 lbs of 38 super that need to be pulled down.

They are all bad loads from someone.

Some are missing primers, some have no powder, some are packed with powder.

Powder from pull downs will go to my roses. Great fertilizer.

Bullets are 124 gr FMJ's. Looks like Speer or something. I will reload these in my 9mm cases.

Brass that is good will most likely get sold if anyone wants it. If not I will cut down to 9mm and fire form. Brass is 38 Super +P. Nickel and brass cases.

    There are almost 1000 cases.

Ones that are missing primers are being pulled down now. I cut down a pencil eraser to plug primer hole while pulling down to not spill powder.

    Unidentifiable powder will become fertilizer.

All the round have been segregated. No primer ones above.

    Ones with primers below.

Close to 1000 rounds. I'm using a Hornady collet puller in my RCBS Rock Chucker. Pulls are very easy.

        Phillips Wholesale find...

From what I was told by Rick these were an estate sale. It was most likely a Dillon 1050 automated and left to run. There are definitely squibs in this batch along with cartridges super packed and compressed with powder. Someone would have lost a finger, hand or worse. Squib followed up by a overload. Kaboom...

Just dumped my second batch (1 hour doing pull downs) of powder in the roses outside. Hope to have some beautiful roses blooming soon.
