    progressive learning experiance

    Does anyone have a progressive press and an evening of free time to lend a hand, knowledge, and equipment, making about 600 rounds of .223?

      No. Just wondering: have the cases already been trimmed or will you measure them after sizing and trim then? If so, the progressive is really not going to speed things up a lot, other than you will have loaded rounds whenever you quit.

          how much money you got? i can rent you my machine/press and giraud trimmer and i can tell you all the so called knowledge i know.

              For only 600 rounds just use a single stage press and hand prime.
              A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

                      OP, One does not simply toss bottleneck cartridges in to a progressive press and make ammo. Case prep must first be done. Then the progressive press comes in to play.
