    IE reloading supplies

    Hey all..

I'm looking for a goods place to buy powder/primes as close to Riverside as I can get. I've found a few decent places but they are a ways out. Other places I've found like Turners has a very limited stock/selection. Anyone know of a good close place?

    Thanks!

Look up Philips wholesale. It is Covina. Good prices on powder and primers.

Try Wirz Wholesale in Highland. That would be the closest.

Mostly shotgun but has other stuff too.

Bullseye has some supplies. As does Bass Pro.

For powder and primers Philips in Covina is hard to beat.

+1 for Wirz. I also order primers and powder online from Bass Pro and select store pick up. That way there's no hazmat fee.

"Shooter Supply" off of Harrison? I've been by a couple times lately and there's never anyone there. Used to be a good place.

I used to stop by on my way home from time to time. Was a good store but the owner moved and put someone else in charge. The prices were always creeping higher and higher but they were good guys to work with.

Thanks for all the input. I'm basically right in the middle of Wiz, Bass Pro and Phillips. I think I'll roll the dice and hit Phillips tomorrow. Apparently they are only open 3 days a week (Thurs, Fri, Sat).

Wirz closed shop around January. Just a heads up.

All you can do is make yourself a list of the powder you want and others that will also work then set yourself up a route to hit the stores and buy what you find. Call Philips first. He won't save stuff for you but he'll tell you if it's in stock at that moment. I used to remember which day he got his shipment so I could line up with everybody else.

Philip updates his powder list once a week for the webpage but as mentioned above it wouldnt hurt to call ahead

Hit Phillips yesterday and I'm nearly $400 lighter in the pocket. Got some pretty good deals though. I'm definitely going back the next time I need more supplies.
