    7.62 x54 origin ??

I picked up some 7.62x54 that is supposed to be from Bulgaria. It has a
    10 @ 12:00 and 54 @ 6:00 . No lion's head . Bulgarian ammo from the
    50's is supposed to have a lion's head and the 10 @ the 3:00 position ..
This is yellow tip ,Heavy ball ,magnetic. paper and string packed in lots
of 10 ,no stripper clips. VERY clean ammo .

Anyone have any idea what I've got ?

THANK YOU !! that ammo looks just like what I have.

The Mosin page says that the ammo needs a lion if it is pre- 1960 .
Your posted site shows otherwise. I will save this post,as this topic

That's the only 54r ammo I use, that 184gr yellow tipped steel core bulgarian ammo. Best price almost and reliable, and clean. If I could find lead core, lighter grain ammo for near that price, I would get it.
