    Cleaning rifle brass?

I've been reloading handgun ammo for about 15 years and always tumble my brass. I recently got into rifle loading and I have about 200+ rounds of once fired that I'm not sure if I should bother tumbling or not. Other than the case mouth and a small chamber ring there's very little difference.
What say you? Couple hour quick spin? Don't bother?

When you remove the empty casing from a bolt action rifle, it stays very clean. When I shoot clean ammo from a clean rifle, I'll sometimes pass on the tumbling. Really the only thing it's there for is making the brass clean. On the inside, you may end up with a bit more carbon residue, but nothing Id be bothered by.

I always tumble my brass but you'll be fine if you skip it every now and then.

Many people simply take 0000 steel wool and knock off the carbon from the outside of the necks. Then, they take a brush and brush the inside of the neck as well.

Seems to shoot the same as clean brass from a dry or wet tumbler.

I always tumble everything... Since I'm crazy I put on a load before bed and leave overnight. Nice and shiny!

Thanks guys for the quick response. They didn't grow at all so I'm going neck size and fire them one more time.
