My very own el-cheapo ammo question!

I have no problem shooting this stuff out of some of my guns. Wolf and the other steel cased russian or chinese made stuff is A-OK by me for a lot of my stuff.

My super nice fine tuned highly accurate firearms, not so much, but my range plinking toys I'll shoot it all day long and, believe it or not, I've never once had a problem with it. Can't say the same for my LC .30 carbine ammo.

    Anyway.

What is the difference, if any, between Brown, Silver and Golden Bear ammo? Same price for a case of it in 7.62x39 or .223, so is there a difference?

I've never used gold, just silver and brown. Brown has a lacquered case like Wolf. Silver has a zinc plated steel case and is shiny.

Gold is, I think, brass plated steel and is their premium line of hunting ammo--but having never used it you'd best be skeptical of what I post and defer to someone who has.

Wolf, Brown and Silver Bear all work fine for me. Of the three, I think Silver Bear is the cleanest.
People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.
