    Lee Load-All 2

Want to load 200 shotshells per month for 1 guage (12 guage) for one gun.
    Will the Lee Loader suffice?
If paying for a name, etc, than a MEC 600 Jr would be my next choice.
    Your opinions please.
Thanks for your input; I appreciate it!

The Lee works, but they are very picky about stack height and more. On the plus side, they come new with many plastic bushing for powder and shot. Some folks are quite pleased, most find they are a headache.

Personally, I'd get the Mec. Preferably a Sizemaster vs the 600 jr. The collet sizer is superior and a primer drop is standard. I recently reconditioned a used one for a friend. I had about $150 into it all told.

Get the mec or just buy factory stuff.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

I strongly suggest the MEC or, if you really want to go budget, a $10 Lee Load-all Jr (my first press).

What I am going to say comes from a dedicated Lee fan. I have several Lee presses that I use a lot and that I love.

I have a Loadall II. It works, it gets the job done. If I had it to do over I would buy the MEC Sizemaster.

If you like I would be happy to lend you my Loadall to play with and try. You can keep it for a while and if you like it you can buy another one or I may sell you mine.

I have not priced shotgun shells for a long time but are you sure that you will be saving money?

Same here. The Lee Load All 2 works but takes some finagling. The MEC will be a better press, but the Load All is $50.00 bucks.

The Lee load all's are great for test load work ups. Easy to set up with just about everything you need to load a variety of different combinations. That being said GET THE MEC! I like the Mec Grabber progressive. At least I did before I got a Ponsness Warren.

I just went through the same thought process and ended up with the Mec. I found a beautifully refurbished unit on eBay from a seller that owns a shop and takes trade-ins and refurbishes them. http://stores.ebay.com/moparx3/

After receiving advice from other reloaders I was advised to go with a Mec that has the full length case resizer as I shoot from an auto loading shotgun. My plan is to shoot slugs that I cast along with shot.
