I used to shoot 1938 turkish 8mm that was all tarnished an most went bang the first time

You took a risk purchasing 2nd hand ammo and this is the consequence... Slightly ugly but perfectly shootable ammo. You and your gun shouldn't stress about it. Clear your worries and then your gun when you're done.
