Got some Wal Mart ammo

Not sure if this goes here or not but oh well.

I never find ammo deals at Wal Mart. Today my wife asked me to pick up a few things so of course I wandered over to the ammo section. There was a whole section of "clearance" ammo that I thought was decent price.

Barnes Vor-Tx .44 and .357 for $10 a box. ($5 a box rebate from Barnes)
Federal Power Shok .308 for $9 a box, 30.06 for $10
PPU 9MM for $6 a box
Winchester steel case 150rds for $15 a box

Not the best price in the world but they had 3 900 round cases of CCI Stingers for $102/case.

Needless to say I bought more than milk and bread today. Hooray for me!

The Stingers price isn't bad. They normally are about $8 for a box of 50. The Walmarts I go to are still limited in their stock. The Huntington Beach one is 3-4 blocks from the Firing Line so it gets picked clean daily. The Irvine one is near the toll road coming in from the Inland Empire so it also gets picked clean. Occasionally it will have an ample supple but it never has .22. In fact they have never raised the purchase limit from 1 box of .22 or 3 boxes of centerfire.
