I use a small otoscope to look at the inside of my rifle cases; I find this to work better for me than a paperclip test as I get a view of the complete case interior, rather than just what the paperclip is going over. This is the model I use:
I use it as it's what I have, and I've owned it for probably 10 years, I'd guess. It's not a great one by any means, but it gets the job done.
However, it eats batteries, which is the one downside. I am therefore curious if anyone else has the same level of OCD that I do, and, if so, what you use.
And yes, I know, the paperclip test has served you well for eleventy billion rounds over several hundred years of reloading, and it should therefore be good enough for you, grasshopper. Fair enough, that works for you, this works for me.
