My S&W Model 52 likes 2.8 gr of Bullseye with 148 gr. HBWC. Capable of 2" at 50 yds.

      I have always used 700X for .38 / .357

147/148 HBWC loaded just longer than the case and the accuracy is excellent

At less than .07 cents apiece they might be a good deal.

I'm not sure that I would want 3300 pieces to try out though.

Having had disappointing results with plated wad cutters I'm ready to try another bullet.

Remington HBWC are great but messy to load.

If you give these a try let us know how they shoot.

I am using the 158 gr SWC bayou bullets after switching from the MBCs LSWC also the same thing with the 200 gr SWC in the 45 acp - to be honest I wasn't that happy with the 45s and have only fired 100 of the 38s so far, but I have already started switching back to the MBCs though I am opting for the MBCs with the hi-tek now instead of the straight lead.

I will say that anything with the hi-tek coating will smoke notably less than with cast and the smell... well lets just say they have a unique smell

edit: after reworking the load, I ultimately used the same load that I used with straight cast bullets (using bullseye)

At any rate, the copper plated bullets from Extreme worked out really well for me in the past for wanted to try some new vendors...
