Leatherwood scopes

Hey guys, I just bought a Remington 700, I'm looking to buy a starter scope, something that really woke break the bank. It seems like the all the reviews say the leatherwood scopes are good for the money? I'm looking to spend no more than 250 for a scope right now. The leatherwood I was looking at was 160, it's the 8-33x50 scope. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
