    Changing brass

New to reloading.... just worked up a few different 9mm load with AA#7 using WIN brass. I have not been able to test yet and see which is best for my XD. I recently was given a bunch of WCC military brass, so my question is, do I need to start over and work up loads for the WCC brass or should the loads in the WIN brass be close enough? I've heard military brass should be loading a but lighter.

I use mixed headstamps for my handgun rounds .Works well for me.I'm not a fan of military brass for handguns.I don't like to decrimp .

Thanks. Not a big fan of decrimping either, but picked up an RCBS pocket swager that goes pretty quick. Much easier that reaming them.

For plinking you'll be alright. I wouldn't waste the time sorting head stamps. Just be sure no .380s sneak in there.

Basically if your accuracy needs are so high you need to pistol brass (serious bullseye at 50 yards) you should be buying new Starline brass and using only that. Otherwise just use anything that looks decent and don't sweat the details. There's not really any in-between.

For rifle there's more grey area.
