Can you shoot ss109 or green tip through a 223 Wylde barrel? I plan of reloading some.

What are you asking? are you planning on shooting your reloads only? What are you worried about. If you load to proper specs there should be no issues. The bigger question is what is your barrel twist? The heavier bullets shoot more accurate out of 1/7 than 1/9 typically. The outer shell of the ss109 is the same as any FMJ so there is no issue with extra barrel wear.

Yes, I read off a military recipe that they are for 5.56 nato chambers. I didn't know if there was any specific lod requirement for the bullet that would make a higher pressure.You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.Comment
