I'm going to load up some 45 c this week and bought 230 gr rn instead of fp. I seem to find a lot of conflicting info. My own experience is I shot alot of rn 3030 as a kid so I don't think it would be a problem. Are the stories if chain fire just fud?

Lead round nose in a lever gun

Round nose is fine. As long as you don't use spire points.Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

RN is fine from a safety aspect. Especially lead. Typically the RN bullets are a thou or two under the RNFP bullets designed for 45 Colt though.Last edited by JagerDog; 02-15-2016, 9:54 PM.Palestine is a fake country
