I don't reload massive amounts, only about 300 / month or so and it's been good for me. As it has been said, you gotta tighten that wingnut down.

I bought HF stuff before. Some lasted and I still use it some its junk and I took it back. Most of the stuff I buy there is regular stull like duct tape, electrical tape screws etc. Most of my real tools are craftsman.
i did just buy a winch from HF but I bought it cause I read the reviews a truck mag did on them and they said its a decent winch. We will see

I try to buy Taiwanese stuff from HF, they seem to be better quality than Chinese or Indian stuff.

Remember: The stuff you buy at Horrible Fright is ALWAYS within the warranty period.

I've taken stuff back after it's failed years after I bought it.
I just use the "I had this thing for 3 weeks & it crapped out, but I lost my receipt" story & they always offer a direct swap or store credit.

Seeing as the head guy at HF flys around in a G-VI I figure they can afford it

I've read good and bad regarding this tumbler, but so far, it's been serving me well. No signs of tumbler breaking apart or heat issues. After a year, maybe it'll be a different story.

They are not on sale right now $54.99. I got an extended warranty for 1 year for an additional $5.99.

Get the big Dillon tumbler. You'll never go back to anything else once you get it.

I have one and I had a similar situation that gottarollwithit had. The drum came loose and was walking around. So I emptied it and tightened down the attachment nut really tight. So far, several dozen hours later, it is still holding. The other problem I had was that the rubber stinks after a few minutes running. I haven't found a solution for that yet so I just live with it. It gets the job done.

Yeahs, mine's relegated to the laundry room (wish I had a garage!) less because of the noise than the smell. Personally, It doesn't offend me, but my wife's really not into off-gassing...
For what I paid, which I currently can't recall but it was cheap, I think it's a decent value for a casual user. Obviously if I was reloading a ton, I'd get a bigger one. Actually, I've started shooting .45-70 since I bought it, and now I wish it had a bigger bowl. Can you put bigger bowls on these?

I was speaking to a guy at Harbor Freight and he stated that the tumblers (rotary, vibratory, etc.) are not going to be sold in the stores any longer and would be an online item only.

So, if anyone was on the fence on these, now would be the time to get one. Also, if someone was going to buy one thinking "oh, if it has a problem, I can take it back to the local store", this might be considered.

I was actually shopping for a rotary one but they were out of all tumblers in the store. I talked myself into more capacity and bought another brand online (well, I should say backordered.)

Buying anything from Harbor Freight always reminds me of a Clint Eastwood Dirty Harry line: "Do you feel lucky today punk? Well, do you?"
