How much lemishine are you using? A very small amount goes a long way. I've noticed that if you use too much it tends to give the brass a dull and possibly a reddish color.

I use a 1/4 teaspoon, which is tiny, but does the job. I use citric acid, not lemishine.

Also, don't let them soak. When tumbling is done, get them out and rinse them. Maybe the crap gets back on them if you let them soak.

Here is a trick.... Don't use any dawn and don't use the pins. Just brass and Lemishine. You will be surprised at the results and how much time I just saved you.
