    .32 ACP question

What is minimum case length for the .32 ACP? My Lee manual states .680 as the max case length, but the factory Winchester brass I've been reloading is shorter than that by a bit (.674-.675). Ordinarily, I would not bother thinking about trimming the brass, however, the batch of brass I have right now has an uneven mouth (see picture) which I am concerned about causing head spacing problems. The piece of brass in the picture is a factory round that I fired and then ran through my resizing / decapping die.

I am also wondering what causes that unevenness? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have never worried about case length in any typical handgun rounds. I would not worry if I were you.
