    Armscor .45 230gr FMJ bullets

Has anyone used Armscor 230 grain FMJ's for reloading? If so, how has the accuracy been with them? I only ask because I've heard and seen people reporting poor performance with their factory ammo. Right now I can find 1k Armscor bullets for about $144 shipped but Rocky Mountain has 230 grain FMJ for $140 (+$7 I think it is for insurance) shipped for 1k.

Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Isnt armscor factory made ammunition ? I cant personal ly comment on their performance , but Ive heard its affordable . If you can find just their projectiles to load , im sure it wouldn't matter much compare to rmr bullets .
Personally i had good results with rmr , precision bullets fmj

They also sell components. I have some of their 62 gr 223 pills to try out from a friend.

varanidguy, I've loaded and shot over 1000 of these with good results out of my TRP. I shot a bunch with 4.6g Red Dot when I couldn't find other pistol powders. Lately I'm loading 5g of Bullseye at 1.26". I've got no complaints with accuracy or quality. They're made in the Philippines.

I bought them from Widener's for about $134/1000 shipped (product number AMC45230B). They had them recently for $109/1000 shipped but they're OOS now. They used to carry both the copper and brass colored pills but lately just the brass (top, center of photo).

Edit: I just looked at the bullets you referenced at Rocky Mountain Reloading. They look *exactly* like the Armscor bullets. I'd swear they are from the same plant!

Thank you everyone for the feedback! I think I'll give the Armscor bullets a try.
