22 Ammo

Hey Gents,

Gun show coming this weekend to Vallejo, and I wondered if it was worth going to try and get some 22 LR ammo. Is 22 ammo still in short supply? Been a while since I bothered looking for some at walmart or local sporting good shops.

You can probably find it on-line cheaper. Also, one of the largest .22 manufacturers (was it Federal?) just said they are upping .22 production this year by 20% so that will help eventually. Heck, I scored 100 round boxes of CCI MiniMag HPs a few weeks ago at Walmart for .07 ea. It was like a fond trip down memory lane. There is reasonably priced .22 out there, you just have to be a scrounger.

Sounds good. I will scour the interwebs for deals. Not sure if I can ship to Contra Costa County, but maybe I could mail it to my g-ma in Solano County if I find some. Looking forward to the days of old when 22 ammo was plentiful.
