Group buy Santa Barbara/Ventura county?

Any interest in a group buy? I'm going to order a bunch of stuff from Powder Valley and was wondering if anyone would want to split Hazmat costs.

Alternatively, anyone local have a group buy in progress that I can join?

This group buy will be closed on 01/08. I will call them for a shipping estimate when the list is finalized.

You can either pick up from a location in Santa Barbara or I can drive to Uncle Paul's Exchange in Ventura on a Saturday or Sunday and you can meet me there (or you can suggest an alternate location but it will have to be over a weekend). I'll give you a copy of the receipt so you can verify charges.

I'm down. I've been waiting for a group buy for some supplies. Tired of paying too much at shops and stores for powder and primers. I'm down for ~10,000 primers and a dozen or so pounds of powder.

Screw this. Lots of bites but no one has paid up yet. I'm going to place the order on 01/08/2009. It works out cheaper than buying local even with $20 Hazmat + UPS fees. If anyone wants in, please let me know before then.

I would like to join but it will cost me about the same to drive to Ventura County VS paying the hazmat fee. If anyone starts one in LA County or San Bernardino County Im in.

You do the right thing, and then everybody flakes.
If you have a local gun club, that usually works out pretty good.

Some of us here (won't name them) stopped replying to PMs. Others turned off PM delivery I must have bad breath. As I said, everyone is your friend until it is time to pay.

My time is worth something. Will probably try to get in on a larger group buy around the LA area if there is one later this year.
