I have worked up a great load for my .223 using Accurate 2230 but for the last year or so it has become like unobtanium. I have read on a couple of other gun forums that Accurate 2230 and Ramshot X-terminator are one and the same powder. Of course, just because you read something on a gun forum does not make it true. Both powders are listed one after the other on the burn rate charts, but does anyone have definitive information that they are in fact the same?

Accurate 2230 and Ramshot X-terminator the same?

Both are by Western Powders and since their burn rate chart lists them at the same spot, it would make sense that if you worked up to the same velocities, you would generate the same pressures. Most likely you would also find out that it took the same amount of powder to do so.
Now a different company's powder such as RL-10x may have similar characteristics, but may generate the same numbers with a different weight.
