    are they safe??

buddy wants me to test out these rounds in my 5.56 cause his 1in 9 twist barrel is tumbling the loads and mine is a 1in7 twist so he wants to see if mine will get keyholes in teh target also ... they are reloads on remington brass with hornady 75.4 grain A-max balistic tips with 25.8grains of blc-2

they gonna be safe or should i not even bother?

If they didn't kill him firing them, then you should be fine.

He is correct in the assumption that your 1 in 7 twist should stabilize the
heavy bullet. On the flip side really light bullets with your faster twist can
"blow up" before the hit the target.

Funny chit seeing shrapnel on the target and no bullet holes.

75 GR is alittle heavy for a 1/9 twist. I believe 52 -64gr is recommended
This page will explain it. http://ammo.ar15.com/ammo/

Also in my opinion the 75gr A-Max with 25.8 BL(C)-2 is a tad on the warm side

Hodgdon lists the maximum charge with a 75 grain bullet as 26 grains of BL-c(2).

This will make 49,500 CUP and a few of Hodgdon's loads for the 75 grain bullets will go above 53,000 CUP
