PACT powder dispenser, cheap!

I have an opportunity to purchase a PACT powder dispenser for a very affordable price. The reviews have been bipolar. some claim inaccurate and slow. Some compare it to the RCBS in speed and accuracy minus the price tag. Some say the PACT malfunctions a lot due to electronic interferences. All I care about is consistent accuracy. speed is of no concern, I can wait an extra 15 seconds. people with first hand experience, whats your opinion?

I have had their scale/powder dispenser for several years. Had trouble with the scale taking to long to zero, sent it in and they sent me another scale. Works great for Varget and other stick powders!

I also have a Pact powder scale, has a lot of issues. Contacted Pact by phone and was basically told to pound sand. Florescent lights, fluctuating power, cell phone too close, you name it, that was the problem....NOT their piece of equipment.
Would NEVER buy anything from Pact, EVER.

and it's made in the USA. So sad. I'm convinced. I'm passing.

Too bad. I've had a Pact powder dispenser for years and it works perfectly. Never had an issue with it.

The other responses are interesting...

I too, have had a PACT powder scale & dispenser for quite a few years now. I take care of them & have never had any trouble with them. Still use them to this day, in the kitchen under fluorescent lights.

RCBS or PACT, both are manufactured by PACT, both are returned to a shop between FT. Worth and Dallas for repairs.

fguffey, Are you talking about the old version vs. the new version? I'm not sure when the year split was. Nor do i know when this one was manufactured.
