Load Data for Speer 9mm 147 grn TMJ

I have a supply of 9mm 147 grn FN FMJ (#4006) and I have the following powders available on my shelf - Titegroup, HP-38 and CFE Pistol. The only load data I have been able to find so far either calls for powder I don't have or for a different bullet profile (GDHP or LRN).

So I'm asking the great minds of Calgun if any of you have done any work up using these Speer bullets with the powders I have listed. Of course I'll be working up the loads for my specific use but thought I'd check if anyone has any data on this particular combination.

Thanks for all the helpful replies. For those that want to just give Smart A** answers, those are appreciated also since I always need a good laugh and Calguns has a way of making me laugh. Just don't make personal attacks as I don't want any one to get banned over this.

My smartass contribution is: "Man, did you ever transplant in the wrong direction !"

Other than the massive popularity of the 9mm Parabellum round, the metric system never really caught on here...

There is a suggested load for CFE pistol for 147 grn XTP. Not quite the same projectile, but it may get you started.

Likewise, I have personally loaded 147 grn RN Copper plated Xtreme with HP-38. 3.5gr - 3.9 (1.14 OAL) . All cycled without signs of over pressure. Again, not quite the same projectile, but perhaps it could get you started.

But remember the caveat: never trust loads from some stranger off the interwebs :P

No Kidding. I keep trying to get back but something about my job just keeps me here.

I've seen this one also and I'm trying to get some dimensions from Hornady on the length from the base to the ogive (sp?) to try to mimic the seating depth.

If all else fails I'll do a work up starting around 3.4 and OAL around 1.1 and see how it cycles and watch for pressure signs.

I've also emailed Speer to see if they have some specific data for my powders combined with the TMJ.

          Thanks
