380ACP - is it worth reloading?

I reload to increase quality not to save money so I would say yes it is worth it

I use RCBS dies with carbide sizer, plus a Lee factory crimp die. I also use the Wilson max gauge to verify overall dimensions on SD ammo (I only load SD ammo with new brass). I also check each powder charge on SD ammo.

My 380ACP just came in the mail this afternoon! Sweet!!!

It's a 380 conversion kit for my Heckler Koch HK4. I have the 22LR and 7.65mm barrels. Lessee ... Tuesday is NRA Day at Jackson Arms ... shooting tomorrow night!!! Yeeha!




I'll have to start bringing my brass catcher to start collecting - bringing a dustpan, too.

I have my Speer loadbook but I can't find my Hornady. Which other loadbooks do you guys recommend that contains the .380ACP?

I just checked my books on the 380ACP and the case dimensions are different. I don't think the extractor would have grab the rim.

I'm going to stop by Big 5 with a 10% coupon to buy a box of 380ACP and start measuring it.

380 is basically the same size as 223.
You use a 223 shellholder for 380 as well.
9mm uses a different shellholder.
That right there should be enough of a clue.
