After finally tiring of hand wiping case lube off with a rag, I took the lazy route and began tumbling resized cases in a vibratory tumbler. However, within the last year, I have switched my case cleaning to a wet tumbler with stainless steel pins. I like the wet tumbler so much, I am considering getting rid of my vibratory tumbler altogether.
Does anyone use a wet tumbler to remove case lube after resizing? If so, do you use any sort of cleaning solution, or do you just tumble with plain water? And do you use stainless steel pins, or just tumble the cases without the pins? How effectively does wet tumbling remove case lube from cases?
If I can't remove case lube simply and effectively with a wet tumbler, I will keep my vibratory tumbler just for case lube removal. I don't want to go back to hand wiping bulk loads of cases.
