For standing reloaders, mat reccomendations?

After many hours in the garage reloading and standing while doing so, I started thinking ergo mat. I have nice ones in the kitchen, but not sure they are right for the garage. Search here didn't produce any reccomendations.

So for those that reload standing up on a hard surface, have you found a quality mat you like?

Try Home Depot or even Office Depot for mats designed for long periods of standing.

I am fortunate that one of my sons does concrete. He gave me a couple of pads like the ones that he uses. I'm sorry but I don't know what they are called, I am just agreeing with your idea.

I love mine. And in the winter they isolate my feet from the cold concrete floor.

I use kitchen mats on top of another piece of regular carpet. Usual practice is to cycle the old kitchen ones out to the garage/reloading center and get new ones for the kitchen.

My process is single stage and load rifle only, and I, as well, stand as its easier for me to manage the process. Maybe if I upgrade to a Forsters Co-Ax hmmm

Batch your work so that you do not have to be forced to stand for "many hours."

If standing annoys your lower back, like mine, lie on your back with your legs on the wall.

Take a break every 1/2 hour since monotony will mess with your concentration.

Seriously, the more clear headed you are the less mistakes that will happen, or you'll catch yourself from making that error/mistake.

Im all about taking breaks. I'm guilty of stealing the kitchen mat and reloading barefoot!

I'm thinking a custom size 2'x4' for $110 shipped isn't too bad.

This version would allow a stool on top of it if I ever did get one and sit. Some of the others are too squishy or may puncture like the kitchen mats.

If you cannot stand long enough, you probably have an awkward setup. For me, I stand in many circumstances (operating the press), but I also sit for weighing charges, priming, trimming, etc. so it provides a nice break. The only time I stand for a prolonged period of time is when I am operating one of those hideous Dillon machines, but I get too bored doing it for more than a couple of hours.

I reloaded off and on for 40 years without mats. Then I got old.

I now have two, 1/2 inch anti static copper embedded mats from a defunct electronics assembly plant. I have the ground wire going to a cold water pipe in my cave.

I have zero static electricity problems on those Santa Ana wind days.

Reason for the anti static mats:

There is a minute possibility that Static electricity may reek havoc upon primers in a Dillon primer tube. (Google it)

I'm just covering my azz. And it's way more comfortable to stand on.
