    Bullet buttons AR-10 vs AR-15

Are the AR-10 and AR-15 bullet buttons interchangeable? In other words, will an AR-15 bullet button work in an AR-10 receiver or visa versa? Are they different?

    Thanx

The AR-10 bolt catch is longer so it goes to reason that the bullet button would also be made longer.
At a minimum, some sort of spacer should be installed before the bullet button.

I use a standard BB on my N6 with no problems.

^ What he said. Just installed two identical BBs, one on my AR-15, one on my (whoo-hoo!!!) AR-10. Magazine catch is a different length, buttons work just perfectly.

            Just to note:

I installed a B15 on my N6 and it needed to be sanded down with a Dremel. Toolbox did a wonderful job on getting it to fit on my N6

(Sanding occurred on the right side of the B15. Very minimal material needed to be removed in order to work.)

Use a AR15 mag catch with a regular BB. It will protrude the same amount as a regular button and fuction like a BB.

The B-15 won't work on the Fulton .308 OLL and needs LOTS of dremeling on the Noveske N6.
I went with the traditional BB on the Noveske, no problem.

It actually was very minimal dremeling on the B16 for the N6.
I watched Grant (toolbox) do it in person. Took him 5 minutes or less.
