Any problems with loading .38 spc loads into .357 mag cases?

I have done it for years with 38/357, 44special/44mag and 45LC/454casull.

I will say I usually use unique or Hi-Skor 700X but the powders you listed should be ok. I have not tried it with bullseye since it is faster it MAY cause a problem.

Another plus here is the .38 ring you wont have to clean through when you do shoot .357.

I'd be doing this all day long but I have like a 100 to 1 ratio of .38 and .357 brass.

I bet you could trade someone 4 to 1 for 357 brass

You will probably attain the most accuracy with a slower burning magnum powder as with rifles, the burn continues while the projectile is moving down the bore, which is different from the double chamber of these cartridges used in revolvers.

Want to be careful downloading magnum powder down to special levels. I for sure wouldn't try it with H110. 2400 is more forgiving but at very low magnum pressures I had unburnt flakes everywhere.

I've loaded .45ACP with Blue Dot & it actually worked pretty well.

As for cases, Starline has new .357 available. $135-ish/1000 isn't bad. Back in '09 I was buying handloads to pull down for the brass & bullets.

It depends on the load. There's a chance of a detonation but if you use more bulky powders, you should be safe. Trailboss is a good option.
